ART BEYOND IMAGINATION - ABI

ABI is a complex artistic project developed for the Longari Arte Milano gallery, an initiative that seamlessly blends meticulous craftsmanship with creative freedom. The project embarks on a research journey, exploring new linguistic and technological dimensions while preserving a profound connection to the past. It engages in a dialogue with ancient art, reinterpreting the timeless desire to express universal themes through visual language—themes that have resonated throughout human history. These themes, rooted in religious, cultural, and philosophical syncretisms, continue to evoke profound existential questions. The ancient works that inspired this project are revisited through reinterpretation and a "plastic intervention" on a 14th-century Announcing Angel. In this reinterpretation, the angel's original structure is preserved while its wings are restored through a sculptural addition. Architecturally, the wings reference the stained glass windows of modern churches, particularly Coventry Cathedral, symbolizing both destruction and rebirth.

It’s as if the Archangel Gabriel has returned with a profound message: “Forge your own sanctuary, a place where protection and freedom coexist."
